Dr. Zoey TolchinDr. Zoey Tolchin is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry, located in Boston MA. Dr. Tolchin has been in private practice since 2007. Dr. Tolchin completed several internships one being at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain where she diagnosed and treated many patients with diseases such as Diabetes, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and Cataracts. Prior to the VA Dr. Tolchin worked at Hanscom Air Force base where she also treated patients with Diabetes, Glaucoma, and Cataracts. At the Air Force base she also treated children who had Amblyopia and other vision disorders. Dr. Tolchin also treated patients who had conjunctivitis (red eye), managed contact lens related issues and treated ulcers of the eye. Dr. Tolchin specializes in prescribing and fitting patients with contact lenses from children to adults. Using the latest contact lens technology and having a wide variety of contacts we offer the most comfortable contact lenses for most prescriptions. Dr. Tolchin specializes in contact lenses that correct for astigmatism. She also fits patients with multi-focal or bi-focal contact lenses depending on the patients needs and prescription. We have trained opticians who teach new wearers how to insert and remove contacts as well as how to handle and clean the lenses. |
Fred DeSantisFred is a licensed and certified Optician. Fred has years of experience working in a private practice setting as well as in commercial. Fred is a great asset to our office. Fred is very knowledgeable at fitting eyeglasses. He specializes in multi-focal and progressive lenses. Fred is great at making eyeglass adjustments if the glasses aren't fitting correctly or if they are too tight or too loose. Fred can also fix your glasses is they are repairable. Fred performs contact lens classes. If its your first time trying contacts he will sit down with you and teach you how to insert and remove contacts. He will review with you how to clean your new contacts and how to care for them. He will recommend the best contact lens solution for your new contacts. |
Mike MalkinMike, is the newest addition to our practice. Mike is an Apprentice Optician. He is very excited and enthusiastic to help you pick out your new stylish eyeglasses or sunglasses. Mike has a great sense of style and fashion and if you are looking for a new look Mike will help you achieve it. Mike also can adjust or fix your glasses if they are not fitting properly or if they are broken. Mike is great with children who need to pick out new glasses for the first time or who need a replacement pair. Mike will review your insurance benefits and will recommend the best option for you financially and practically. Mike will teach you how to insert and remove contacts, as well as how to clean and store your lenses.

Kathryn McGlynnKathryn is the backbone of our office. Kathryn is our front desk personnel. Kathryn is the one who will help you to schedule your appointment when you call our office and she is the one who will figure out your insurance benefits. Please provide Kathryn with all your complete insurance information as it is essential for her to be able to figure out your benefits before your appointment. This will save you and us time and it will help to flow your appointment in a smooth manner. When you arrive Kathryn will greet you and explain to you the flow of your appointment. If you need to cancel or change your appointment time or date please notify Kathryn at least 48 hours prior to the appointment because there is a $20 fee for cancellations. Kathryn is very friendly and very knowledgeable so please feel free to ask her any questions you might have and she will do her best to answer your questions or she will direct you to someone who can. |
