Dr. Zoey Tolchin, O.D.Dr. Zoey Tolchin is the owner of the practice. She sees patients at both the Woburn and Billerica locations. She is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry, located in Boston MA. Dr. Tolchin has been in private practice since 2007.
Dr. Tolchin has completed several internships including the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA and at the Hanscom Air Force base in Hanscom, MA. |
Dr. Tolchin is experienced in diagnosing and treating patients of all ages with diseases such as Diabetes, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, and Cataracts along with children experiencing Amblyopia and other developmental vision disorders. She is able to treat ulcers and infections of the eye (such as conjunctivitis (red eye)) and also treats contact lens related issues.
Dr. Tolchin specializes in treating Dry Eye Conditions using Microblepharo Exfoliation with BlephEx Technology. This is a new technique that is targeted to treat and manage Blepharitis and the associated symptoms of Dry Eye Syndrome. Please read more about this procedure in our "Services" section.
The doctor fits and prescribes patients with contact lenses using the latest in contact lens technology. We have a wide variety of trial contacts in stock to choose from to offer the most comfortable contact lenses to fit most prescriptions and provide optimum vision. Dr. Tolchin specializes in contact lenses that correct for astigmatism. She also fits patients with multi-focal or bi-focal contact lenses depending on the patients' needs and prescription. The doctor can fit patients with mono-vision contacts, a great option for people that cannot adapt to multi-focal contacts but would like to be less dependent on reading glasses.
